Colour Combo Blog Hop: May 2020

Thank you for stopping by today, I’m so happy to be participating in another Colour Combo Blog Hop! My favorite part about this hop is seeing the different interpretations of the combo.

I created this card using one of my favorite floral set from the current Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, Beautiful Friendship. I find that this stamp set is my go to when I need to make a thoughtful card and right now we all need a little more thoughtfulness! The sentiment is from Tasteful Textures and can’t we all agree it’s important to take time to feed our souls!

I stamped the largest flower image in Crumb Cake ink stamped off once to give it an even more subtle imprint. Then I stamped the rose trio image once in full strength Calypso Coral and then again, but twisted to offset the image. I added in Soft Sea Foam leaves because you can’t use this set without the leaves! Finally I stamped the sentiment from Timeless Textures in Gorgeous Grape.

Normally, I would add sparkles (hello, it’s in the name) or embellishments to my cards but this card didn’t seem to call for any rhinestones or pearls. If you want to make this card I’ve listed the products I used below. I also have a variation on this card here.
