I made this card featuring the colors from the Global Design Project Color Challenge for last week. The colors are Seaside Spray, Terrecotta Tile, and Pear Pizzazz. I always seem to be about a week or two behind in creating for these challenges, but it doesn’t make them any less fun!
I used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set to create my image. I stamped the largest flower (I think it looks like a Hydrangea) in Seaside Spray, the clustered flower (likely wild roses) is stamped in Terracotta Tile, and the leaves were Pear Pizzazz.
I used Seaside Spray Cardstock for my mat and the die cut from the Stitched Labels Dies for the sentiment. I fussy cut out the Terrecotta Tile flowers and popped them up with dimensionals. I accented my card with Linen Thread and In-Color Faceted Gems.
I really love the versatility of this set! You can see another project I created using a vibrant color palate here. I also know that if you search Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship on Pinterest you’ll see some amazing creations!
If you want to play along with the Global Design Project Challenges you can subscribe to the blog here. There is a new challenge each week and a rotating schedule of the type of challenge for each week. One word of caution the creators are base is Australia and the deadlines for entering the challenge is in AEST so make sure you know what time that means in your time zone!
